Welcome to Alseny Soumah's Music. Dance, & Cultural tour in Guinea, West Africa December through January 15 2014/2015

Alseny Soumah is from Guinea West Africa he was a member of both professional dance companies, Les Merveilles D'Afrique and Le Ballet Du Guinea.

Alseny brings a fresh new flavor to the art of dance, embodying cultural enrichment and optimal professionalism. He is known to be exciting, invigorating, and remarkably creative! He is dedicated to sharing and preserving the rich culture of Guinea.

CLASS OFFERINGS:

Class will be taught by Alseny, members of various ballets, and/ or other local artist

Class are tailored to the students experience level

There will be 2 classes daily. These classes will vary between djembe, Dunun & dance.

Balafon, Krin, Kora, and cooking class are also an option.

TRAVEL/HIGHLIGHTS:

All transportation is included in tour cost

Tours in the beautiful Guinea countryside, Conakry, Kassa, Room Island &/ or Sangardi

Explore market places, historical landmarks, night clubs, neighborhood festivals, and other places of interest

Attend local Dununbas, performances rehearsals of Guinea National Ballet & presentations by local artist & ballets

Potential to participate in a video session with the Guinea National Ballet

Culminating Dununba party
